Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, energetic, customer-oriented, and eager to develop professionally. An ideal applicant will possess a strong aptitude for technology and computer hardware, along with some mechanical expertise. Exceptional troubleshooting abilities are essential for this role. The right individual will demonstrate a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of computer and hardware systems on large commercial vehicles.
  • Diagnose and resolve installation challenges promptly and professionally.
  • Provide technical support to the Technical Support Team.
  • Assist in preparing customer shipments, which includes light assembly, hardware configuration, unit testing, data logging, and packaging/shipping.
  • Manage return material authorizations (RMAs).
  • Efficiently handle administrative tasks, both internally and externally (including documentation and record-keeping).
  • Conduct repairs on units, both hardware and software, while effectively communicating any issues or bugs to development engineers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with basic tools, principles, and procedures for installing computer systems in heavy-duty vehicles is preferred.
  • Proven history of high-quality electronics installations.
  • A strong sense of personal motivation, initiative, and adaptability.
  • Experience in troubleshooting computer hardware and software.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Experience in engaging and communicating with various stakeholders, including peers, other departments, and external clients.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Technologically adept.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Able to learn swiftly, manage multiple tasks, and utilize time efficiently.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google Office Suites.
  • Proven ability to engage hands-on with team members.
  • Commitment to accuracy and precision; highly organized.
