About the Role

We are seeking a talented Motion Graphics Designer to join our team at Thomson Reuters. As a Motion Graphics Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and animating dynamic motion graphics to enhance our digital video content.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with video producers and editors to understand project objectives and translate them into engaging motion graphics.
  • Conceptualize, design, and create dynamic animations, transitions, and visual effects to enhance video content and digital assets.
  • Develop custom graphics, editable motion graphic templates, icons, and typography to align with brand guidelines and project requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in motion graphics, animation, and AI tools.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
About You

We are looking for a skilled Motion Graphics Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics projects. You should have:

  • Proven experience in designing and creating motion graphics.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects.
  • Knowledge of video editing software and techniques, especially Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with business and technology topics and terminology.
  • Ideal experience in a newsroom environment.
