Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Support Professional to join our team at TimePlan Education. As a Learning Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational needs of students in a mainstream school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with their learning through one-on-one assistance and small group interventions, fostering their confidence and independence.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other support staff to meet the individual needs of students, contributing to the planning and preparation of teaching resources and materials.
  • Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies, promoting the social and emotional development of students.
Requirements
  • Some experience or Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3).
  • Experience in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of the curriculum and learning objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Caring and compassionate approach towards students.
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
