Injection Moulding Setter Role

ASC Connections Ltd is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join their team at a leading manufacturer of plastic parts to major OEMs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for changing over a range of injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment to produce components of the set quality required by the customer. This includes safe loading of mould tools, and all associated ancillary equipment, as well as working to all relevant health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing tools and conducting tool changes
  • Starting up and closing-down injection moulding machines
  • Setting machinery
  • Carrying out quality checks
  • Resolving process issues/faults

Requirements:

  • Technical experience working with multiple plastic injection moulding machines as a Setter or Technician
  • Hands-on experience of resolving moulding issues and general aptitude for problem solving
  • Knowledge of various materials
