About the Role
NHS Professionals Limited is seeking a skilled and compassionate Paediatric Nurse to join our team. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and young people in a variety of healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to children and young people, addressing their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify, and prioritize the needs of children and young people, and develop effective care strategies.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and report any changes in a child's condition, ensuring timely interventions and referrals as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with children, young people, and their families, providing emotional support and guidance throughout their healthcare journey.
- Participate in education and training programs to maintain and enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- A Paediatric Nursing Degree and current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric A&E environment within the last 3 years.
- Compliance with NMC Professional Registration and ongoing commitment to current nursing practices.
