Job Title: SEN Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering bespoke tuition packages to young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who are unable to access mainstream education.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate and creative tutor to support children and young people with SEN in the Pinner area. Many children with SEN have become disengaged with their learning, and we aim to provide a supportive and structured environment to help them re-engage and make progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost attainment levels
  • Support and re-engage pupils in their learning, offering structure and routine
  • Continue pupils' educational development and support their return to school
Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • PECS/Makaton training preferred but not essential
  • Experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils
What We Offer
  • Part-time contract with a minimum of 5 hours per week
