Job Description:

We are delighted to be supporting our longstanding client, a leading legal services provider, in their search for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their team. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in providing expert legal advice and guidance to the business, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level legal advice and guidance to the business on a range of matters, including contract law, data protection, intellectual property, and competition law.
  • Supervise and mentor junior solicitors, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to handle complex legal matters.
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Board to ensure alignment with business objectives and strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of business policies and procedures, ensuring they are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a strong background in contract law, data protection, intellectual property, and competition law.
  • Proven experience in providing high-level legal advice and guidance to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
