Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineering Team Lead to join our Minor Civils Refurbishment team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a multi-disciplined team of engineers and technicians, overseeing the execution of minor civil engineering projects, and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of engineers and technicians to deliver minor civil engineering projects, including mechanical works, excavations, and installations.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and control project costs, resources, and timelines, making adjustments as necessary to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Strong background in civil engineering, with experience in minor works projects, including mechanical works, excavations, and installations.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Valid UK driving license and proven towing experience.
