With offices in major fashion capitals such as Milan, London, New York, and Los Angeles, Karla Otto represents some of the most prestigious fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands in the industry.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Account Coordinator to join our team based in our London office. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the day-to-day account functions within the hospitality division.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and coordinate the execution of public relations strategies and campaigns for hospitality clients.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts in the hospitality industry, including travel, food and beverage, design, and trade press.
  3. Assist in the creation of press releases, media kits, and other marketing materials.
  4. Track and analyze media coverage of clients and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  5. Support the development of creative and effective press collateral, including engaging press releases and copy.
  6. Manage incoming reactive enquiries from external partners to ensure maximum opportunities for clients and the agency.
  7. Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, representing the Karla Otto brand and ensuring client satisfaction.
  8. Provide administrative support, including monthly and weekly reporting, call agendas, and recaps, as well as maintaining the hospitality team's contact database.
  9. Assist in preparing and executing on-site client events, including international press and influencer trips.
  10. Participate in internal and cross-agency brainstorming sessions and maintain an active interest in the verticals represented by Karla Otto.
  11. Conduct competitor analysis to inform commercial decision-making.

Key Attributes

  1. 1-2 years of experience as a Junior Account Executive, Accounts Assistant, or PR Assistant in a fast-paced agency or in-house environment, preferably within travel or restaurant PR.
  2. Strong relationships with press and industry peers.
  3. Excellent understanding of media relations, influencer relations, and relevant strategies.
  4. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, prioritizing own work in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Positive attitude to challenging situations and a willingness to go above and beyond to deliver outstanding results.
  6. Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
