About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Car Park Management Team as a Chargehand. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Management: Assume responsibility for the site in the absence of the Site Supervisor, including during rota days off, annual leave, or sickness.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure the team adheres to the company's HR policies, health and safety policies, and procedures, including all applicable safe systems of work.
  • Trolley Collection: Oversee the collection of abandoned trolleys, ensuring they are quickly returned to customer pick-up points in a clean condition.
  • Time Sheets: Accurately record and submit time sheets on a weekly basis.
  • Rosters: Complete weekly rosters to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Customer Relations: Liaise with store managers and staff to develop and maintain excellent working relationships.
  • Customer Service: Deal with customers and resolve complaints efficiently.
  • Site Cleanliness: Perform onsite cleaning duties, ensuring the site is always clean and presentable, including litter picking and maintaining flower beds, car parking spaces, and customer-facing areas.
Requirements
  • Team Management: Experience in running a small team.
  • Reliability: Must be trustworthy, reliable, and punctual.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • IT Skills: Basic understanding of Information Technology systems.
  • Driving License: Must have a full driving license.
