Warehouse Supervisor

- To supervise the PM Shift and achieve all main performance expectations.
- Plan and co-ordinate the distribution of work in a timely and efficient manner to achieve your team objectives.
- Drive your team to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as determined by the company.
- Be responsibility for aspects of the training & development of your team in conjunction with Line Management.
- To ensure effective, safe, accurate and timely order picking.
- Ensure quality procedures and team quality targets are strictly adhered to.
- Implement the company’s Health and Safety Policy, ensuring safe working conditions and practices within the Warehouse.
- Represent the department on the Health & Safety Committee as required.
- Any other reasonable expectations which may be required by management from time to time.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Leading a team of warehouse staff and supervising their workings.
- Overseeing the process of all orders picked including information on globals.
- Supervising the orderly stacking and arrangement of orders in the warehouse.
- Preparing the shifts workplan and delegating work to subordinates to achieve this plan.
- Completing specific work streams in a timely manner during the shift.
- Ensuring the compliance of safety norms in the warehouse.
- Liaising with sales on variations to the normal schedule, including late orders.
- Comply with regular training and workshops/team briefs for the staff.

**Principal Expectations**:

- Motivating and managing of personnel and allocating key tasks so that they complete in
- Ensure a good level of hygiene is maintained while the shift is operating whilst also adhering to company Health and Safety policies.
- To work to company KPI’s, also ensuring all paperwork is filled in correctly and signed off.
- To complete a thorough shift handover with the following shift, ensuring the warehouse is completely tidy for the handover.
- Any other duties as assigned by a more Senior Manager.

**Schedule**:

- Sunday - 1400pm-2200pm.
- Monday to Thursday - 1600pm until midnight.
- 40 hours per week.

**Skills and Experience**:warehouse experience is essential, supervisory experience is preferred, reach truck licence preferred.

**Remuneration**:£11.00 per hour, after successful completion of probation, £12.00.

Shift premium £1.00 per hour for work after 1900pm.
