About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our team at Peabody. As a key member of our property maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-maintenance, and high standards of our homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day and major repairs, voids, and planned preventative maintenance within your local area.
  • Provide expert technical advice and support to colleagues and contractors to deliver a seamless service to our customers.
  • Conduct site inspections, manage contractors, and ensure all works are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve value for money and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Experience in building surveying and a strong understanding of building pathology, preferably within a social housing context.
  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying or hold a similar technical qualification (HND/HNC).
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships with various stakeholders, including contractors.
