Job Summary:

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Mentor to join our team at a leading college in Cambridge. As a Learning Support Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with teachers to support students in vocational areas, adapting learning materials and ensuring access to therapy interventions.
  • Help students achieve their Education, Health, and Care Plan outcomes.
  • Provide individualized support to students, promoting their engagement and participation in the curriculum.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEND.

Requirements:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or equivalent) are a must.
  • A qualification or experience in Health and Social Care is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working with young people with SEND is a plus.
