JOB PURPOSE

The primary function of the Showroom Reception Host is to:

• Provide a warm and immediate welcome to all customers and visitors.

• Ensure all incoming calls, whether internal or external, are answered promptly and handled according to established procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a well-staffed and tidy reception area at all times.

• Guide customers to the seating area and offer them refreshments while they wait.

• Manage and coordinate all incoming calls and visitors, taking comprehensive details of the caller's business and paging staff as necessary.

• Develop and uphold a system to track the location of key personnel consistently.

• Ensure that customer refreshments are replenished regularly.

• Keep the customer waiting area clean and organized, free of any dishes or clutter, including the kitchen area in the showroom.

• Accurately prepare all outgoing mail for dispatch each evening.

• Safeguard the safety and security of individuals, vehicles, and property at all times, reporting any known issues or hazards.

Skills & Requirements

Essential

• Professional appearance.

• Proficiency in numeracy, literacy, and IT skills.

Experience

Desirable

• Relevant previous experience in a similar role.

Hours: 25 hours per week, covering Tuesday to Saturday as needed.
