Purchase Ledger Role

Nixon McQuade is recruiting for a Purchase Ledger position on behalf of a leading business in Newry. As a key member of the AP team, you will provide comprehensive support to the department's activities, with a focus on Purchase Ledger functions.

The Role:
  • Process purchase invoices and credit notes
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Allocate bank and cash transactions
  • Manage supplier payment runs
  • Liaise with other departments and suppliers to resolve queries
  • Perform month-end procedures
  • Prepare a weekly cash flow forecast
  • Set up and maintain vendor accounts
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience in accounts payable
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Rewards:
  • Salary range £25,000 - £30,000
  • Company pension contribution
