Job Opportunity for Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Staff

We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Staff to support our Primary and Secondary Special Educational Needs Schools in and around Horley.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with special educational needs in a Primary and Secondary school setting
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to provide a positive learning environment
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, as needed
  • Provide individualized support to students with varying needs and abilities
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive school environment
Requirements:
  • A positive attitude and good work ethic
  • Calm and patient nature, with the ability to work with children of all needs and abilities
  • Happy to use own initiative and get involved in school activities
  • Able to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Kind and caring towards children, with a willingness to take on training and development opportunities
  • Previous experience working with SEN children is ideal, but not essential
  • Hold a valid DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one
