About the Role

We Are With You is a leading provider of substance misuse services, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Practitioner Psychologist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment to clients with complex substance misuse issues
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based psychological interventions to support clients in achieving their recovery goals
  • Supervise and support the development of junior psychologists and other staff members
  • Contribute to the development of our service's clinical strategy and policies
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and service delivery
Requirements
  • Postgraduate Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology, or equivalent
  • Registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist, with evidence of continuing professional development
  • Demonstrable experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients with substance misuse issues
  • Advanced training in an evidence-based psychological therapy for substance misuse
  • Accreditation with BABCP as a supervisor or trainer
