Job Title: Transport Shift Manager Nights

Lenham Storage Co. Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Shift Manager Nights to join our team. As a key member of our transport department, you will be responsible for planning and dispatching drivers and loads on time during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and motivation to a team of transport operatives to ensure daily targets are met.
  • Plan and resolve overload situations.
  • Receive and respond to phone calls.
  • Administer driver paperwork.
  • Manage crisis delivery situations.
  • Dispatch night loads.
  • Generate warehouse reports and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Process goods inward loads and paperwork.
  • De-brief drivers.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Experience in planning multi-drop deliveries.
  • Knowledge of driver regulations for planning hours.
  • Empathy and strong communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and IT proficiency.
