Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at iCONECT Development, LLC. As a key member of our product development process, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement manual and automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Review system requirements and create traceability matrices to track requirements vs test cases.
  • Provide timely and meaningful feedback on quality specifications and technical design documents.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to meet client needs.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate quality testing activities to ensure timely delivery.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using Playwright to streamline testing processes.
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Plan and perform thorough regression testing to ensure software stability.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Liaise with internal teams, including developers and product managers, to identify system requirements.
  • Monitor debugging process results to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies to ensure best practices are followed.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in software development and quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, with a preference for Playwright.
  • Experience in JavaScript, Typescript, React, and other UI-related languages.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
