We are seeking dedicated Youth Support Facilitators for our innovative YEF (Youth Endowment Fund) initiative. In this role, you will be instrumental in cultivating positive connections with young individuals, offering guidance, assistance, and opportunities for social development.

Your focus will be on engaging with young people who may be disengaged or have a history of offending, with the objective of reducing first-time offenses and preventing recidivism. This will involve mentoring, providing diverse support, and participating in programs alongside them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging presentations and foster enthusiasm while building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, including parents, caregivers, students, and young individuals.
  • Establish trusting connections with young people through active listening, empathy, and respect.
  • Develop, organize, and implement innovative individual action plans and interventions aimed at promoting personal growth, leadership skills, and community engagement.

You will operate primarily within the West Midlands area, with the flexibility to commute as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with offenders or individuals facing multiple or complex challenges.
  • Background in delivering services in both one-on-one and group settings.
  • Experience in a target-driven environment with a demonstrated history of exceeding objectives.

Familiarity with the criminal justice system and relevant legislation, particularly the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, would be advantageous.
