Job Title: Bank Reconciliation Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled Bank Reconciliation Clerk to join our team at Gleeson Recruitment Group. As a Bank Reconciliation Clerk, you will be responsible for spearheading a project to clear millions of pounds of unallocated cash.

About the Role:

The role is full-time, based on 35 hours per week, and hybrid with the opportunity to work 2 days from home. You will join a busy finance department and sit within the Credit Control team of 8, reporting into the Credit Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unallocated cash review and investigation.
  • Investigating old and live accounts, sales invoices, and ensuring correct information has been issued and documented.
  • Bank reconciliation, cash posting, and allocation of receipts from customers.
  • Providing support to the wider finance team as needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in bank reconciliation, cash allocation, and accounts receivable processes.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
  • Confident with basic Microsoft Excel tasks.
  • Dynamics 365 - desirable.
