Position Overview

Are you a skilled Welding Quality Assurance Inspector with substantial experience in the nuclear or other highly regulated sectors?

Join a leading global Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firm that is at the forefront of the nuclear new build industry.

Key Responsibilities

As a Welding Quality Assurance Inspector, you will:

  • Ensure that all construction activities comply with contractual specifications and promptly inform the Construction Superintendent of any discrepancies.
  • Proactively identify potential quality concerns to facilitate timely corrective actions.
  • Assist in implementing temporary measures to maintain safety and quality standards on-site.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Welding, or equivalent vocational training and experience.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the Engineering Construction sector, including materials, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong organizational, delegation, and communication skills; proficiency in French is a plus.
  • The ability to uphold quality standards in a demanding environment.
  • Capability to foster effective working relationships with contractors.
