Piping Quality Engineer Job Description

The NRL Group is seeking an experienced Piping Quality Engineer to join a large construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of piping systems and components, and will work closely with partners and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site quality inductions and monitor quality objectives
  • Review and track quality documents submitted by subcontractors
  • Participate in site inspections and testing
  • Verify welding documentation and ensure compliance with Nuclear Safety requirements
  • Train partners and subcontractors in quality tools and procedures
  • Perform quality audits and random inspections
Qualifications:
  • Engineering or bachelor's degree
  • ISO9001 lead auditor qualification
  • Welding Inspector Qualification
  • NDT qualification in PT, MT, UT & RT desirable
Professional Experience:
  • Experience in working on construction sites for at least 2 complete projects in a quality role
  • Knowledge and experience in piping, mechanical, and welding inspection
  • Experience in Non-Destructive Examination (NDT)
  • Experience in corrosion protection (painting, galvanizing) desirable
