Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Dudley

Job Type: Temporary to Full-Time

Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 am to 3:30 pm)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Ofsted-rated 'Good' SEN school in Dudley. The successful candidate will provide additional support to students with severe and profound learning difficulties, including high levels of autism, complex medical needs, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with Special Educational Needs
  • Assist the teacher with general classroom and behavior management
  • Perform personal care tasks as required
  • Manage challenging behavior and maintain a safe learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents

Requirements:

  • Valid full UK driving license
  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
  • Experience with personal care and managing challenging behavior
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
