Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective category strategies in collaboration with other functions and the wider business network.
  • Identify, report, and mitigate category and supplier risks.
  • Lead supplier approval and onboarding processes in collaboration with the Supplier Quality team and other functional support areas as required.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with the extended project team (engineering, programme management, finance, business development, supplier development).
  • Discuss procurement information (quality, cost delivery) with some level of technical expertise.
Requirements
  • Experience working within category management, developing a category strategy, and strategic sourcing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
