Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead our Purchase Ledger team, ensuring timely and effective processing of invoices and payments for all group companies. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial operations and be able to provide leadership and cover for the Group Commercial Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Purchase Ledger team to achieve team and personal objectives
- Create timely reports for senior management to inform business decisions
- Investigate and resolve invoice queries and payments on account to ensure a clean and well-managed ledger
- Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Provide leadership and support to the Group Commercial Manager as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to create and analyze financial reports and data
- Knowledge of financial software and systems
- Experience integrating acquisitions would be a bonus
