About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Innovation Specialist to join our team at Ethero. As an NPD Technologist, you will play a key role in developing new taste sensations in both own and client brand produce food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage NPD projects to deadline, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Develop and implement launch plans as directed by both Manager and/or customer, aligning with business objectives.
  • Organize and manage trials, shelf life, samples, and industrial validations for projects, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues throughout the process, from feasibility to launch, to ensure successful product development.
  • Work with the company's Marketing department to generate ideas for new products, driving business growth.
  • Organize product showcases to present trend findings and ideas to the team, fostering innovation.
  • Provide information to colleagues to create launch Quality & Technical documents for the factory, ensuring compliance.
  • Conduct market research to provide new ideas and trend information to colleagues across Category, Marketing, and Commercial Management, as well as NPD colleagues.
  • Monitor products post-launch, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide full and concise feedback to management, driving business decisions.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Food Science/Technology or a similar field.
  • Have at least 2 years' experience working as an NPD Technologist.
  • Understand chilled/short shelf-life products, shelf-life analysis, product sampling, factory trials, and product costings.
  • Have had a lead role in NPD projects from concept to launch.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Have strong IT ability.
