Job Title: Warehouse / Stores Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse / Stores Assistant to join our team at LGC Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse and stores functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receipt and processing of stock and samples for SSAS
  • Inspection of goods received to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Stock control and movement of stock around site to optimize storage and retrieval
  • Unloading of supplies and materials
  • Placement of orders to replenish stocks and maintain inventory levels
  • Performing additional tasks as required to support the Stores function
Requirements:
  • Motivated and hardworking individual with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Previous experience in a Stores environment is desirable, but full training will be provided
  • Good numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to tasks and ability to work independently
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
