The Role

  • To support the Chief Financial Officer in overseeing the group and developing reporting strategies
  • Responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of accounting information, reported from accounting systems across the group
  • Business partnering for the senior management team
  • Prepare annual budgets to demonstrate efficient growth
  • Improve systems surrounding all aspects of the group's accounting budget, forecasting and business planning
  • Continuous review of financial control and management information systems and procedures, implementing improvements across the organisation in consultation with the Chief Financial Officer
  • Plan and Support projects which explore potential problems or opportunities

The Person

  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience within a senior financial management and reporting role
  • Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent
  • Significant experience in audit or preparing statutory accounts
  • Experience with financial modelling
  • Commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written with the ability to communicate effectively with financial and non-financial personnel
