About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Rheumatology to join our team at Ipswich Hospital. As a key member of our musculoskeletal team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with early inflammatory arthritis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultant-led services with the highest standard of care
  • Develop and maintain good working practices within wards, outpatients, and A&E
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop care pathways and clinical guidelines
  • Offer support and leadership to junior medical colleagues and other members of the multi-disciplinary team

Person Specification
  • MRCP (UK)
  • Specialist accreditation or within 6 months of attaining CCT
  • Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCST in Rheumatology
  • Ability to take full and independent responsibility for the clinical care of patients
  • Ability to perform core and specialised Rheumatology procedures
