The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Management Specialist to join our team at Kingston Barnes Ltd. As a key member of our engineering partnership, you will work on a variety of projects across all sectors, undertaking commissioning management, asset management, project and change management duties in relation to all aspects of building services engineering.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for surveying and inspecting installations and properties, design reviews, specification, and management of building services contracts. You will also prepare feasibility studies, defect analysis reports, technical audits, and provide direct client and customer liaison.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting engineering reports, drawings, layouts, and other visual aids
  • Assisting in the planning and distribution of the commissioning plan for mechanical, electrical, and process commissioning
  • Leading an M&E team in the coordination and delivery of individual projects
  • Establishing and maintaining company-wide commissioning standards and systems
  • Providing technical support to clients and resolving/feedback information across the commissioning staff
  • Approving draft and subsequent detail documentation, O&M manuals, and operating procedures
  • Writing technical reports and specifications
  • Conducting on-site Engineering Services inspections and reporting for due diligence and dilapidations

  • Strong technical knowledge of building services engineering
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
