Job Title: Sales Consultant - Renewable Energy

Gen Tech Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for converting sales leads, meeting with prospective customers, and closing deals to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with potential customers to understand their energy needs and financial goals.
  • Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental impact, and energy independence.
  • Conduct initial consultations, either in person or remotely, to assess the customers' property and suitability for solar installation.
  • Develop customized proposals that meet the customers' needs and budget.
  • Present proposals to customers, explaining the technical and financial aspects of the solar system, including expected energy savings and financing options.
  • Closing sales by guiding customers through the contract signing process.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions to meet both the customers' and company's interests.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in sales, ideally within the renewable industry.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (DOE) plus commission.
