A fantastic opportunity exists for a Fundraising and Development Manager to join the team and play a crucial role in securing financial resources to support the charity's orphan and widow sponsorship programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and oversee fundraising activities across a broad suite of avenues, including community, events, mosques, and local business partnerships.
- Develop and manage fundraising campaigns/activities and work to targets, leveraging expertise in grant writing and public speaking.
- Lead and manage a team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful fundraising outcomes.
- Familiarity with fundraising software and CRM systems is essential for the role.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of fundraising specifically, community fundraising, and donor relations in the charity sector.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including grant writing and public speaking.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
