About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at The Lighthouse in Lancashire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic care and support to children and young people.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and behavioral programs under the supervision of a registered nurse and psychologist.
  • Participate in all aspects of care, including planning and organizing therapeutic activities, supervising children, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Contribute to the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of treatment plans and risk management plans for children and their families.

Requirements

  • Either have or be working towards an NVQ level 3 qualification.
  • Previous experience in working with children and young people is desirable.
  • A passion for working with children and young people, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of care, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
