About the Role

This vacancy is for a dedicated support worker to join our client's support package and provide assistance in their own home. We will be your legal employer on behalf of the client, and you will not be asked to support other clients. All of our contracts are for permanent positions with a 6-month probationary period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to the client, including medication and patches, cooking, and domestic tasks around the home.
  • Accompany and support the client to enjoy their interests out and about in the community, requiring a full clean UK driving license.
  • Help to create a stress-free environment by displaying patience in response to the client's repetitive questions and keeping them safe.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to meet the client's needs, including CQC standards.
Requirements
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this vacancy, which will be met by HomeCareDirect.
  • Previous care experience working with autism and learning difficulties is essential.
  • Prepared to commit to long-term care for one client in a person-centered way.
  • Willing to be trained to CQC standards to meet the client's needs.

  • Be reliable, non-judgmental, caring, responsible, compassionate, committed to confidentiality, and treat the client with dignity and respect.
