Electronics Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at Octagon Group. As a global leader in photonic engineering, we provide optical systems, assemblies, and components for various applications across aerospace, defence, life science, and telecommunications.

This role involves the development of electronic solutions for a range of electro-optical products. You will be responsible for analogue and digital electronic design, PCB design from concept to prototype, and hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic solutions for electro-optical products
  • Develop analogue and digital electronic circuits and PCB designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
  • Contribute to the development of new projects and technologies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in analogue and digital circuit design
  • Knowledge of digital and analogue signal processing
  • Experience in PCB design, schematic capture, and layout
  • Basic Embedded Software experience using C and/or C++
