Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at Source Appointments Ltd. As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for processing high volumes of invoices, coding and matching the invoices, and batching them into the correct files. You will also be reconciling statements and dealing with any supplier queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process high volumes of invoices, coding and matching the invoices, and batching them into the correct files.
  • Reconcile statements and deal with any supplier queries.
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices.
  • Use MS Excel and Pegasus Opera to manage and process invoices.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an Engineering or Manufacturing background.
  • Good understanding of the purchase ledger function.
  • Knowledge of Pegasus Opera and MS Excel skills.
  • Good keyboard skills and a good eye for detail.
  • High volume processing experience.
  • Conscientious and hardworking, with a strong work ethic.

Company Benefits:

  • Excellent working conditions with onsite parking.
  • Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 4.30pm and 8.00am – 1.00pm Friday working hours.
  • 24 holidays plus stats, free parking, private medical insurance, and pension, with 4.5% contributed by employer.
  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.50 – £15.00ph depending on experience.

Working Environment:

The role will be working from an office 5 days a week, in a small and friendly team environment. The company is an established business with a strong reputation in the industry.
