About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a key member of our educational community, you will be responsible for teaching engaging English lessons to secondary school students, developing creative teaching strategies to spark a love for literature and language, and monitoring and assessing student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English lessons to secondary school students, promoting academic excellence and a love for learning
- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to engage students and enhance their understanding of literature and language
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth and development
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and fosters a sense of community
- Engage in school events and contribute to the broader school community, promoting a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Degree in English or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A passion for teaching and inspiring students
- Experience teaching at the secondary level is preferred, but not essential
