About the Role

We are seeking a talented Civil and Structural Engineering professional to join our team at Hydrock. As a key member of our engineering consultancy, you will play a crucial role in delivering sustainable projects that shape the built environment and improve the quality of life for our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop technical skills through complex project work and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Prepare reports, provide advice and guidance to clients and project teams, and manage workload to meet project deadlines.
  • Contribute to project team meetings, attend site inspections, and develop commercial awareness through proposal preparation and tendering.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, including sustainable urban drainage, biodiversity net gain, and digital engineering skills.

Requirements
  • Relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with software tools such as AutoCAD, WinDES, PDS, and Civil 3D.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving license and student or graduate membership with the ICE and/or IStructE.
