Audit Director Job Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Audit Director to lead our audit team and drive the growth of our audit department. As a seasoned professional with a strong track record of leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing the provision of high-quality audits in various sectors and providing accurate risk and assurance advice to clients and junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading a team of auditors and overseeing an audit portfolio at a top UK accountancy firm.
  • Working closely with Partners to provide strategic insight into the audit workflow, resourcing, and direction of travel.
  • Reviewing and preparing audit work, advising on audit-focused projects and problems.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure clients benefit from all business services.
  • Providing training and development for colleagues and team members.
  • Representing the company at networking and business events, identifying new business opportunities.
  • Identifying opportunities to introduce and cross-sell company services to new and existing clients.

Requirements:
  • ACCA/ACA qualified.

  • Self-motivated and highly organized.
  • A team player able to bring out the best in others.
