Production Manager

A leading engineering company in Herefordshire is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the production team to achieve operational excellence through strong leadership and effective communication.
2. Implement continuous improvement methodologies such as TPM, Lean, and Six Sigma to drive efficiency and quality.
3. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and promote a culture of engagement to meet and exceed expectations.
4. Develop and implement problem-solving strategies to anticipate and prevent issues.
5. Manage shop floor operations using ERP systems and promote effective communication across all levels of the business.

Desired Qualifications:

1. ILM L5 qualification or equivalent.
2. Engineering apprenticeship and/or HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
3. IOSH qualification in Managing Safely.
4. Formal Six Sigma qualifications (Green/Black belt).
