Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team at Lowell Financial Ltd. As a key member of our Internal Audit function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our risk management systems, internal controls, and governance arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead independent assurance activities to provide opinions on the effectiveness of our risk management systems, internal controls, and governance arrangements.
  2. Develop and implement a proportionate risk-based Internal Audit approach across the Group.
  3. Deliver audit reviews to a high standard, within allocated days and budget, and ensure effective communication with business management and audit management.
  4. Prepare and present audit findings to the Group Head of Internal Audit, Regional Heads of Internal Audit, and key business stakeholders.
  5. Provide advisory services to the business to add value and improve Lowell's governance, risk management, and internal control environment.
Requirements
  1. Recognised accountancy qualification, ideally gained while working in External Audit or a similar role.
  2. Experience in the delivery of internal audit assignments or other assurance provision, including risk identification, evaluation, and control design.
  3. Understanding of financial accounting requirements, including IFRS reporting and local GAAP, as well as Treasury operations and balance sheet management matters.
  4. Experience gained in a Financial Services environment and/or an understanding of financial products is desirable.
