Electrical Field Service Engineer Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Liverpool area. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending customer sites globally to assist with preventative maintenance, commissioning/installations, IQ/OQ, or emergency call-out visits.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Attend customers' facilities to carry out installations & IQ/OQ.
  2. Assist with commissioning of equipment at customer sites.
  3. Perform preventative maintenance tasks at customer facilities.
  4. Collaborate with the EC&I team on project field wiring/testing/build when not on-site.
  5. Respond to emergency breakdown call-out visits.
  6. Ensure all work is compliant with the company's Environmental Health & Safety Policy and ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System.

Requirements:
  1. Degree (or similar) qualification in electrical engineering.
  2. Knowledge of Siemens HMI/PLCs (Siemens 7 & RS logic).
  3. Familiarity with CAD.
  4. Experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry (desirable).
  5. Excellent customer care and relationship-building skills.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary dependent on experience, but likely £45k-£50k.
