Technical Administrator Role

Ideal Recruit Ltd is seeking a skilled Technical Administrator to support our client in Skelmersdale. The successful candidate will work 9am-5pm, 5 days a week, at a competitive hourly rate of £11.44.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the technical and wider teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Create and update technical documentation, including computerised dashboards, specifications, raw material data sheets, and Microbiological tables, to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and issue certificates of analysis for our powder arm of the business, adhering to strict quality standards.
  • Facilitate the release of products for sale, based on microbiological, chemical, and organoleptic results against agreed specifications, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Handle customer complaints, working closely with the relevant manager to investigate and implement corrective/preventative actions.
  • Monitor the technical performance of dairy powder, ensuring the facilitation of release is completed in a timely manner, and maintain up-to-date technical information and documents.
  • Conduct internal audits against company policies and GMP standards, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to coach and support others, promoting a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exemplary computer skills, with experience using customer portals and product specifications.
  • Knowledge of GMP standards and quality assurance principles.
