Asset Integrity Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Integrity Engineer to join our team at Dow Silicones UK Limited. As an Asset Integrity Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our pressure systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct examinations and inspections of pressure systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Develop and implement Written Schemes of Examinations (WSEs) to ensure the integrity of pressure systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks to pressure system integrity.
- Conduct design verifications for new and repaired pressure equipment to ensure compliance with design codes and regulations.
- Develop and maintain departmental procedures to ensure the quality system is maintained.
- Contribute to internal and external audits to maintain departmental accreditation.
- Chartered status or working towards chartership in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Materials Science.
- At least 3 years of experience in an engineering discipline associated with in-service inspection of pressure systems.
- Experience in design, manufacture, inspection, operation, maintenance, and testing of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and safety protective devices.
- Category 1 Inspection Engineer as per UKAS RG2.
- Chartered Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers or Materials.
