About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Labour Administrator to join our team at International Procurement & Logistics. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Labour Administrator, who will schedule workforce according to business needs both in advance and on short notice. The successful candidate will be communicating on a daily basis with managers, supervisors, and leaders regarding staffing issues.

Shift: 4 on 4 off - 7am - 7pm

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Data input into the Time Management System, ensuring any absence is recorded accurately and in a timely manner, and non-compliance is recorded immediately.
  • Monitor absence, reporting, and escalating as required. Ensure the policies and procedures relevant to absence are adhered to by your team, colleagues, and Operational Leaders.
  • Book holidays in accordance with the Policy and guidelines, escalating any issues to your Manager and the colleagues Leader.
  • Collate the requirements and/or requests for overtime and Shift Swaps ensuring your Manager can allocate in line with the Policy and guidelines.
  • Support your Manager in addressing clocking anomalies i.e. failures to clock, early leaving, etc., and manage/escalate as appropriate.
  • Arrange the induction of colleagues including factory tours, introductions, and follow-ups.
  • Liaison with all relevant internal departments to create a robust manpower plan based on volumes, skill levels, capability of colleagues, etc., to ensure smooth running of lines.
  • Demonstrate company values and support others within the operation.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with all relevant internal and external customers, including Planning, Operations, Technical, Payroll, HRBP's, L&D.

What We Are Looking For:

  • IT Literacy – knowledge of Microsoft Excel at Basic level (Intermediate desirable).
  • Experience of working within a large, fast-paced Operations/Factory/Production site ideally within FMCG/Pharmaceuticals.
  • Experience of developing excellent working relationships with Stakeholders (customers/clients/managers).
  • Must handle all matters with discretion and respect confidentiality.
  • Forward thinking with good planning skills.
  • Strong influencing skills and motivational skills.
  • Clear communication style face-to-face, written, and via the telephone.
  • Confidence in front of opposition or challenge.
  • Previous experience working with KPI's (desirable).
