The primary objective of this role is to enhance production efficiency through the timely management of documentation and shortage issues, ensuring comprehensive visibility for both production and logistics regarding manufacturing and kitting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee internal planning by work center, analyzing demand and capacity to optimize workload.
- Monitor production compliance with the established plan, collaborating closely with the Operations team to ensure alignment and execution.
- Take initiative in driving continuous improvement of internal KPIs, addressing any discrepancies.
- Develop and implement recovery plans within the internal Operational Team as necessary.
- Manage and maintain ERP planning parameters effectively.
- Confirm MPS/MRP demand in accordance with the Business System.
- Coordinate production inputs, tracking progress against schedules and intervening as needed to realign deliveries.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to address anticipated material availability issues, ensuring internal suppliers maintain a steady supply.
- Investigate MPS/MRP discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels on the shop floor to align with demand.
- Participate in annual stocktaking activities, validating material variances.
- Engage actively in One Safran/Continuous Improvement/Lean initiatives.
- Contribute to the planning of new product introductions (NPI) by attending cross-functional meetings.
- Participate in weekly CCB meetings to assess production impacts and manage stock dispositions within the Business system, considering cost implications of rework and resource allocation while ensuring MRP demand accuracy.
