Windows and Virtualisation Team Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Windows and Virtualisation Team Leader to join our team at Computappoint Limited. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals in managing and improving our on-prem server performance, virtualisation environments, and cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the team's efforts to improve automation and continuous improvement within the team
  • Administer, support, and maintain the Windows Server, Citrix, and VMWare environments
  • Monitor operational stability and deliver improvements
  • Lead team management, leadership, and mentoring
  • Manage stakeholders and vendors

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Windows servers, M365, SCCM, and Active Directory
  • Experience with on-prem and cloud-based solutions, including Azure and AWS
  • Strong knowledge of virtualisation technologies, including VMware Virtual Center and Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop
  • Proven leadership experience, managing teams of 5+ people
  • Experience in regulated financial environments is highly desirable
