Job Summary:

We are seeking a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join our team in Maidstone. As a pivotal member of the team, the successful candidate will lead tasks such as grass cutting, border works, sports field marking, and other general landscaping duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the team are able to complete work in line with the contract specification and show an excellent level of customer service, keeping customers informed throughout the process
  • Planning, organising and supervising staff
  • Ensuring equipment is safe and correct for use by carrying out inspections
  • Planning, identifying and ordering materials and ensuring chemical usage complies with current legislation
  • Ensuring safe working practices are always maintained, identifying risks and unsafe practices in order to minimise potential for injury or accident

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Grounds Maintenance Experience in a similar role
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Demonstrable machinery maintenance, use, knowledge and skill
  • Computer literate
