Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Phlebotomist to join our team in collecting and packaging blood samples within our busy department.
Main Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples from patients in their own homes or other residential settings using evidence-based venepuncture procedures.
- Ensure that blood sample bottles are accurately labelled in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Ensure that clinical samples are correctly packaged for transportation to the laboratory.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and processing blood samples, working closely with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Experience equivalent to NVQ level 2/3.
- Evidence of Phlebotomy Training.
- Evidence of Phlebotomy Experience.
- Able to perform phlebotomy procedures without direct supervision.
- Work experience in a healthcare environment.
